Brian Borus Notes – 3rd Weekend March 2013
Brian Borus Camogie Club are holding a clothes collection. Please bring unwanted clothes in black bags to training. The clothes will be accepted up until April 20th. Any type of clothing, soft toys, towels, belts, shoes, handbags and curtains will be accepted. You can drop them off at Ballylooby dressing rooms during training. Training continues every Sat evening at 5pm in Ballylooby GAA pitch for U8, U10,U12 and U14’s. All girls are requested to attend as the championship will be starting shortly.
The U 16’s played their final round game on Sunday morning in Ballyneale against Sliabh-na-mBan. Brian Borus came out winners against a very competitive Sliabh-na-mBan team.
Players on the day were Claire Doyle, Jane Hyland , Ellen English, Amy Tobin, Helena Walsh, Laura Morrissey, Ciara Hickey,Fiona Burke, Caoimhe Condon, Linda Murphy, Jessica Myers, Eilish Kennedy, Emma White, Niamh Walsh and Ciara Morrissey. Well done to all the girls.
Well done to Jane Hyland – Clogheen NS and Linda Murphy – Ballylooby NS who go to represent their schools in the primary games football trials.
Well done to Laura Morrissey, also, who was part of the Tipp u14 county team that played Waterford last Saturday.
Best of luck to Jessica Myers who is part of the Tipp u 16 county team taking on Cork next Wednesday and also to Garret Byrne, one of the selectors.
Congratulations to Jackie O’Gorman, Jennifer Grant, Mairead Morrissey and Trisha Hickey, all part of the Tipperary Senior team who defeated Down last Sunday in Tipperary Town.
Training for all under 6,8,10 and 12 girls will commence next Wednesday evening in Clogheen at 6pm.
Registration is now due and all players are asked to bring this money to training.
The club will hold a Table Quiz in The Village Inn, Ballylooby on Saturday April 20th. Please come along and support the club.
