Clonmel Town B 4 – Vee Rovers 1
Under 14s suffered a 4-1 defeat away to Clonmel Town B in their first outing despite playing quiet well. Dion Morrissey was the scorer from the penalty spot.
Cashel 2 – Vee Rovers 3
The young Rovers travelled away to Cashel on Friday evening in hope of a good performance, and is exactly what we got. First half goals from Shane Crosse and Dion Morrissey saw the sides all square at 2-2 at half time. Nathan Crosse gave us the lead late in the game and some heroics in goal by Cormac Flynn ensured that we held on for all three points on a 3-2 scoreline.
Junior
The Junior game was called off on Sunday due to the death of Tom Peters in Ardfinnan. The Club sends its sympathies and prayers to all the Peters family Cahir. May he rest in peace.
