Under 14

Clonmel Town B   4    -    Vee Rovers    1

The under 14s opened their season with an away game against Clonmel Town B at Ferryhouse. Having dominated the first half, in which the Vee missed a penalty, the side was caught with a sucker-punch on the stroke of half time. Dion Morrissey levelled the game for Rovers 10 minutes into the second half from the penalty spot. In an evenly contested game the stronger Town side began to dominate in the last ten minutes and eventually ran out 4-1 winners.
